I bought my Yeti X flex's to accompany me on a 3 month trip through Central America. These things are unbelievable. I have done waterfall hikes through the jungle in El Salvador (they do duty as water shoes as well as hiking sandals), multi-day motorbike rides through the countrysides of Guatemala, run many miles on beaches, pavement, rocks and everything in between, rainy muddy dirt bike adventures in Panama - and even braved the shopping streets of Mexico City.
In all cases my Yetis have acquitted themselves with absolute aplomb. Multi-function clothing is really important to me, because I take only 8 kg max of cabin luggage with me on my travels (yes, even for 3 months!). And the Yeti Flex has been a game-changer, as they can do so much. I am seriously considering leaving my trail-running shoes behind next time to open up space for some extra clothes!
There has been no sign of any wear (despite basically wearing them every day all day). If the team behind t-rockets ever decide to make them in multiple colors I might get 2 more pairs. Seriously, they are that good.
I hope to reach as many people as possible with this message. Only because I need t-rockets to keep making them. Forever. Because I need them to exist into the future. t-rockets’ slogan is “Out There”. But here’s another one for you: “Adventure made better”.

A comment on the Vegan X
Hunter and his wife visited SA for a couple of months. He spotted the Vegan X, bought a pair and spontaneously made the video below. Hunter and Louise have thoughts to return and live here.
